Apart from the record releases, flickr tracks, webite songs and so on, there are some things that have never been independently released, such as soundtracks for commercials and films. This is far from an exhaustive list, but the ones I know about are:

On Peter's flickr is a video of a recording session for a film soundtrack. This turned out to be part of Clint Mansell's score for the film 'Last Night', in which Peter sings the lyric to Not At Home over Mansell's music. Here's an extract from an interview at m-mosaic.com

5. Last year you also worked with Clint Mansell for a movie soundtrack. I read from one of his recent interviews that you added your vocal over one of his scores, and the vocal was actually taken from one of your songs. Could you tell us more about this? Which song of yours was the vocal taken from?

Ahhhh yes, I was talking to the director of this film from the beginning, and was potentially going to write the score myself, but it didn't work out, and then they ended up getting Clint Mansell to do it! I love Clint's score work, so I was thrilled when they asked me to collaborate with him on one piece for the score. They were nearly finished with the film, and he had scored the whole thing, but they were using my song Not at Home in a scene towards the end. They wanted to use the song, but they also wanted it to blend in with the rest of Clint's score. And coincidentally, my vocal melody in that song happened to work over the top of a piano piece he had written. So I flew to Los Angeles and recorded the vocals over his piece. I believe the film comes out in March.
